Discuss your flooring & epoxy project

Define the work before you commit

What to prepare for a quotation

Tell us the room sizes, existing flooring, moisture history and intended use. Quotations should identify preparation, materials, coating system where relevant, cure time and warranty terms.

Local projects, coordinated with care

We welcome inquiries from Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville and discuss other Northwest Arkansas locations individually. Tell us your project address so contractor travel, access and local requirements can be considered.

How NWA Market Builder helps

  1. Josh listens to your goals and helps develop the scope.
  2. We confirm contractor qualifications, insurance, availability and fit for the work.
  3. We coordinate quotations so you can review price, timing and responsibilities.
  4. The chosen contractor fulfills the agreed project under the written agreement.

Our partner standard requires current insurance and applicable licensing for the work being proposed. NWA earns revenue by marketing construction services and working with contractor partners. Relevant commercial relationships and any applicable charges are disclosed before commitment.

Can every concrete floor receive an epoxy coating?

Suitability depends on moisture, contamination, cracks and the existing surface. The specialist should assess the slab and specify preparation and a suitable coating before you commit.

Prepare your flooring and epoxy brief

What should I share about my flooring and epoxy project?

Identify each room or surface, approximate area, current floor covering, intended use and any visible cracks or moisture. Include photographs and your preferred finish.

What should the quotation explain?

Compare removal, substrate repair, moisture assessment, preparation, material specification, edges and transitions. Ask how long the area must remain unused after installation.

Can I start without a final budget?

Yes. Share your priorities and a working range if you have one. Homeowners pay no introduction fee to NWA Market Builder; contractor and design services are quoted separately. A project price requires a defined scope and assessment of the site.

PLAN THE DETAILS

What a flooring and epoxy scope should include

Separate hardwood installation or refinishing, other interior floor coverings and concrete coatings: they need different preparation and products. Compare removal, subfloor or slab repairs, moisture testing, materials, trim and transitions. For coatings, request the specified system, surface preparation, slip considerations and written return-to-use instructions.

Timing: plan the stages before the start date

Ask for a room-by-room schedule covering furniture removal, preparation, installation or refinishing and return to use. Straightforward installation can be measured in days; moisture correction, extensive repairs, acclimation or special-order materials can add time. Coating and finish cure times depend on the selected product and conditions, so obtain the installer’s written guidance before moving furniture or vehicles back.

A local project brief to help you get started

Illustrative Bentonville garage brief: record the slab’s cracks, stains and moisture history; describe vehicle and workshop use; compare preparation and coating systems with a clear warranty and vehicle return date. An interior hardwood brief instead needs board condition, species where known, room areas and desired finish.

This is an illustrative planning example, not a claimed completed project. For published partner work, see the credited portfolio.

Can hardwood refinishing and garage coating use the same quotation?

They should be separate, clearly described scopes. Hardwood refinishing concerns timber condition, sanding and finish; garage coating depends on concrete condition, preparation and a compatible coating system. Confirm the contractor’s relevant experience for each.
